"We just returned from a four night stay. We have traveled the world and this is our favorite B and B of all time. Vicki and Scott are not just great hosts, they are wonderful people and their five acre site is simply beautiful. Conveniently located for our visits to the Indiana Dunes NP. Near quality restaurants. We stayed in the Smoky Mountains room and would highly recommend it!"

"Often people choose their destination, then look for lodging as the afterthought. Vicky and Scott's Bed and Breakfast in itself would be a perfect destination for anyone looking for beauty, calm, and comfort. Had we scheduled more time into our trip we could have enjoyed their perfectly positioned pool and hot tub!
Vicky has an eye for creating beauty with nature and plantings. There are many "rooms" throughout the back yard with seating where depending on your sun/shade requirements at the time, you can be settled into the perfect outdoor nook. The food is outstanding to say the least! I felt like it was a blessing from God that they had an empty room to accommodate us when we searched last minute for an overnight trip to the Indiana Dunes. This place is worth booking a year in advance! Thank you so much!"

"Fantastic bed and breakfast! The property is gorgeous and the inside is very cozy. The hosts are friendly, accommodating, and wonderful cooks. There were amenities everywhere! Board games in the common spaces, a basket of towels near the pool, first aid in the bathrooms, etc. We were only there for one night but we wished it had been for a week!"

"Victoria and Scott have placed great attention to every little detail. We felt very pampered and spoiled. Their setting is beautiful, complete with a water fall pond to relax first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening after exploring the Indiana Dunes. Wish I would have booked several more days."

"If you are looking for a relaxing and gorgeous environment hosted by warm and welcoming hosts then At Home in the Woods is a must! The food is awesome, made from scratch (Vicky even makes her own yogurt!) and beautifully served. We’re already planning our next visit!"

"Many thanks to our hosts Scott and Vicki for a relaxing visit at their BnB. We stayed in the Denali suite which was a comfortable and quiet loft. The breakfasts were great and an afternoon snack of fresh blueberry crisp was delicious. Beautiful gardens, pool and hot tub. And Bailey, their dog, gave us an added warm welcome! The location is private but still close to the Dunes NP and nice restaurants in Chesterton. Couldn't ask for more! We would definitely stay there again."

"Absolutely loved this place! The owners were so welcoming and helpful about places to eat around the area. Very secluded and we saw tons of animals around the area. The Treehouse was perfect for us, and it was so cozy with tons of amenities. Hot tub was wonderful after a full day of traveling and sightseeing! Breakfasts were out of this world! 100% recommend this place!"

"We had a wonderful time staying here. The location was good - as stated "in the woods". The grounds were lovely and the room cozy. Vicky and Scott are awesome hosts and the breakfasts are to die for. They were open and welcoming and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Highly recommend staying there."

"We had an amazing stay last weekend. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and make the experience so relaxing and fun. There are private little benches and swings tucked away in a natural setting of flowers and a lily pond. Being from Colorado, I especially enjoyed the Rocky Mountain themed room! Can not wait to go back!"

"We definitely recommend this lovely little home in the woods for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life or just a romantic get away. We only live 35 minutes from this lovely gem in the woods . The home is cozy and beautiful, the hospitality and friendly atmosphere are welcoming. Vicki and Scott are super kind and generous. We thank them for allowing us an escape of the busy life into their sweet quiet home.
Everything you need is here including little bailey their sweet beagle pup. Super clean and delicious home cooked continental delicious breakfast either inside or out on the patio.
Can’t wait to come back."

"This experience was amazing! The people, the food, and the atmosphere just beautiful all the way around. We only did one night but we will be back. It was the perfect place for us to turn off our phones and relax. Wonderful place."
